The countryside around Triple Creek ranch is ideal for cross country skiing, whether you’re a beginner or a veteran Nordic skier. You can start on the ungroomed trails and fields around Triple Creek Ranch. Or you can choose the groomed trails of the Chief Joseph Pass Trail system, which is half an hour’s drive from the ranch. The 25 kilometers of trails here are well-maintained by the Bitterroot Cross Country Ski Club  and range from beginner to advanced along the Continental Divide. The Activity Coordinators at Triple Creek Ranch can outfit guests with the proper equipment and the kitchen is happy to provide a pack lunch.  About on milee from the trailhead, there’s a a beautiful log cabin available to guests as a place to eat their lunch or just warm up by the fire.  Backcountry skiers can enjoy the Old Anderson Mountain Road, which is a section of the Continental Divide Trail.

Triple Creek Ranch offers a complimentary ski shuttle — and a warm beverage and freshly baked cookies — to and from the mountain. All cross-country skiing equipment is available at Triple Creek Ranch along with trail maps. Visit Triple Creek Ranch
