A sure sign of spring is the annual Tulip Festival in Morges, which marks its 50th anniversary this year. Running from March 20 May 10, 2020, the event along the lakefront will be two weeks longer than usual to celebrate the anniversary. There will be a variety of programs during festival, including a Pottery Weekend, a Barrrel Organ Festival, a competition for flower-bedecked fountains, as well as sound and light shows highlighting the Castle.

The star attractions, of course, are the 190,000 bulbs planted throughout the park. In July 2019, the Tulip Festival was admitted to the World Tulip Society and was honored as the “2019 World Tulip Destination Worth Travelling For.”
