Art at The Alfond Inn at Rollins

Art in the Park

The Alfond Inn at Rollins has long been celebrated as a groundbreaking and unique art hotel, the only hotel in the United States that exhibits artworks from a museum collection, in this case The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, which is part of the permanent collection of Rollins Museum of Art.  The hotel exhibits a rotating installation of works in the public spaces.  On June 1st, the in-person, curator-led art tours at the hotel return on the first Wednesday of the month.  Summer dates June 1, July 6, and August 3.

A short walk from the hotel is the Rollins Museum of Art, which is exhibiting From Chaos to Order: Greek Geometric Art from the Sol Rabin Collection and Recent Acquisitions. Both run through May 8, 2022. Pathways: The Carlos Malamud Prize will open on May 21, 2022. The nearby Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is famed for its Tiffany collection.
