PLATEFORME 10, the new museum campus in the city of Lausanne, is adjacent to the central railway station and built on a former train platform. It’s home to three museums: Musée cantonal de design et des arts appliqués contemporains (mudac), Photo Elysée, and Musée cantonal Beaux-Arts (MCBA), as well as the collections of two foundations, Toms Pauli and Félix Vallotton. Plateforme 10 is a dynamic Arts District with a welcoming esplanade, restaurants, terraces, and book and gift shops.

For the inauguration of its new building, Photo Elysée opened with three video installations by the American photographer Tony Oursler in the LabElysée space through November 6th, 2022. In the Espace Projet gallery, Sarah Margnetti has a solo show on view until April 23rd, 2023, called “Supportive Structures,” awarded the Manor Art Prize 2022 Vaud. “IKONAR.

Archival Constellations” is the first retrospective entirely devoted to the work of the Czech-born photographer Josef Koudelka in Switzerland since 1977, and it will run until January 22nd, 2023. “René Auberjonois – Louis Soutter Les candeurs premières” brings together two artists in this show at MCBA through January 8th, 2023. https://plateforme10.ch/en/exhibitions/
