A Festive Line-Up of Parades, Parties and Shopping in Winter Park, Florida
The holidays are made for gathering around the table, for music, revelry, and of course, shopping. Here are a few of the sparkling happenings The Alfond Inn at Rollins has in store for this year’s festive season.
- Orlando Philharmonic in Winter Park
The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents its annual Holiday Pops concert in Winter Park’s Central Park, a program of holiday favorites. This free public concert is made possible by the Charlotte Julia Hollander Trust and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and a festive picnic. December 2, 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
- 66th Annual Ye Olde Hometown Christmas Parade
Hosted by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, the 66th Annual Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade is Central Florida’s longest running Christmas Parade. The parade, with more than 100 bands, dance troupes, floats, local dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus, marches down historic Park Avenue in the heart of downtown Winter Park. December 8, 9:00am
- Get Your Jazz On
This holiday jazz concert hosted by The Alfond Inn at Rollins features the Dana Kamide Quartet. The event features unlimited select wine, beer, spirits and seasonally blended cocktails will be available. The culinary team will be serving Hamilton’s Kitchen award-winning roasted pig as well as vegetarian selections. December 20, from 6:30pm – 9:30pm. $49 for General Admission, $75 for VIP
- New Year’s Eve Gala
Hosted by The Alfond Inn at Rollins and featuring The Buzz Catz. December 31. 8pm – 12:15am. $189 per guest.
- Midnight and Beyond
Hosted by The Alfond Inn at Rollins, this dance party on December 31 goes from 10pm – 1am. $99 per guest
