Vintner Events at Triple Creek Ranch have grown as popular as its other quintessential ranch activities, such as horseback riding, fly fishing, and Cowboy School. Long famed for its elevated culinary program, personalized service, and spacious private log cabins, Triple Creek’s wine program has also been recognized by Wine Spectator for two decades, holding the “Best of Award of Excellence” since 2012. The Ranch was recently recognized once again as one of the top 500 hotels in the world in this year’s Travel + Leisure T+L 500 List.

As an extension of Vintner Weekend Events, the new Wine & Whiskey Weekend, April 23-26, 2026 will be hosted by renowned wine and spirits proprietor John Schwartz, co-owner of some of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries and a Kentucky distillery, in partnership with luminaries such as Heidi Barrett, dubbed the “First Lady of Wine” by Time magazine and NBA superstar Stephen Curry. The special debut weekend will feature some of the most notable vintages from wineries, including Amuse Bouche, Au Sommet, Coup de Foudre, and Grands Joueurs Vignerons. It will also introduce a new twist to regular programming, with select spirits tastings of Kentucky bourbons from Lone Whisker and Gentleman’s Cut.
Triple Creek Ranch is situated amidst 750 acres of towering lodgepole pines bordering the Bitterroot River, surrounded by four million pristine acres of the Bitterroot National Forest. The Ranch offers an elevated all-inclusive experience for a select number of guests in 25 luxurious western-style log cabins. Separated for tranquility and privacy, the cabins have comfortable living areas, wood-burning fireplaces, and king-size log-post beds. Most of these secluded retreats also feature private hot tubs.

Fine dining is one of the hallmarks of Triple Creek Ranch. Executive Chef Jacob Leatherman is known for his inventive and creative cuisine, sourcing the best produce, fish, and game in the American West and fusing it with his classical French training. Seasonally, Jake and his team also utilize the Ranch’s orchard and gardens, found just across the river on Triple Creek’s 26,000-acre working cattle & bison ranch, the CB Ranch, where guests also enjoy many à la carte adventures and activities.

All Special Events and many of the activities at Triple Creek Ranch are included in the rate, such as skiing, horseback riding, fly-fishing, archery, sapphire panning, stargazing, cooking classes, soap & candle making, art tours, and more. Cowboy School sessions are a multi-day immersion in cowboy skills. Triple Creek Ranch is an Orvis-endorsed lodge that offers fly fishing lessons and guided fly fishing trips from raft floats on the blue-ribbon waters of the nearby Bitterroot River. Yoga and guided meditation sessions are also ideal ways to unwind after a day outdoors.
Celebrating more than three decades of ownership by Barbara and Craig Barrett in 2025, Triple Creek Ranch is an iconic treasure of the American West and was awarded two Michelin Keys in 2024.
