Fine dining is one of the hallmarks of Triple Creek Ranch, and Executive Chef Jacob Leatherman is known for his inventive and creative cuisine, sourcing the best produce, fish, and game in the American West and fusing it with his classical French training. His artful dishes are paired with wines from the Ranch’s cellar, which has earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence each year since 2012. Seasonally, Jake and his team also utilize the Ranch’s orchard and gardens, found just across the river on Triple Creek’s 26,000-acre working cattle & bison ranch, the CB Ranch, where guests also enjoy many à la carte adventures & activities.

Triple Creek is known for its Vintner Events, which feature acclaimed winemakers from Chappellet Winery, Schramsberg Vineyards, and Chateau Montelena, among others. Tastings and dinners with the winemakers set these weekends apart throughout the year.

Cowboy School sessions are a multi-day immersion in cowboy skills. Triple Creek Ranch is an Orvis-endorsed lodge that offers fly fishing lessons and guided fly fishing trips from raft floats on the trophy waters of the nearby Bitterroot River. Summer is a popular time for visits, but winter is the hidden secret at the Ranch, a time for horseback rides in the snow, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. Go cross-country skiing on the Continental Divide or alpine skiing at the nearby Lost Trail Ski Area, which straddles the Montana-Idaho border. The Ranch provides complimentary equipment, tickets, and a packed lunch for these ski excursions. Or stay cozy in March at the yearly Stave Puzzle Weekend, when guests solve the challenges of hand-made creations from the country’s foremost jigsaw puzzle company.
