Late fall is a terrific time to schedule a visit to Triple Creek Ranch. There’s a welcome chill to the air when you set off on a morning horseback ride or take a hike in the adjacent Bitterroot Mountains. This Relais & Chateaux property has one of the finest Western Art collections in the country. But there’s also wine, at this resort that has won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 2012.
Weekend Vintner events have long been a cherished tradition at this Montana hideaway. Not only do these weekends offer the unique opportunity to spend quality time with renowned winemakers, but also the chance to savor exclusive premier vintages from acclaimed vineyards. Thursday is arrival day, with a Vintner Welcome Reception. On Friday, there are Wine Tasting Seminars and a chance to enjoy classic Ranch Experiences. Saturday begins with more ranch experiences and is followed by a multi-course wine-paired Dinner, with departures on Sunday.
Dependeing on the waether, activities can include cooking classes, geocache scavenger hunts, horseback rides, orchard picnics, and cross-country ski treks.
Wines from the featured vintner are poured throughout the weekend, and often, vintner partners bring along rare treasures that are not available anywhere else. These are long weekends of adventure with guided wine tasting seminars and the highlight is always the highly anticipated wine-pairing dinner on Saturday night.

Founded in 1996, DuMOL is dedicated to working their unique vineyards with a sensitive touch, creating highly nuanced, vineyard-focused Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from distinctive sites in the cool-climate Russian River Valley.
